King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah and Life Support Training Centre – Postgraduate Education & Academic Affairs are pleased to announce the 2013 schedule of the Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization Course (PEARS) which will be held at Ibn Sinaa Hall, MC-1 KAMC-WR.
Course Objectives

Recognize a seriously ill or injured child by using a systematic approach
Demonstrate high quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Begin to stabilize a seriously ill or injured child
Practice effective team interaction
Course Description

Basic Life Support (BLS) competency testing
Rescue breathing skills practice
Core case discussions
Cardiac arrest core case simulations
A video based written exam

Fees

National Guard: 400 SR
Non-National Guard: 500 SR
CME Hours: This course is accredited with 10 CME Hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
